Macabebe, Pampanga—Cluster 7 Secondary Schools competed at its press conference last January 19 at Macabebe High School.

This year , C7 pres-conference’s theme is “Navigating the Digital Frontier: Responsible Journalism in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (AI)”.

There are 10 Secondary Schools and 2 Integrated Schools That participated in Cluster 7 namely Caduang Tete National High School, Macabebe High School, Telacsan High School, Santa Maria National High School, Dalayap High School, San Esteban High School, Consuelo High School, San Vicente San Francisco High School, Tarik Suliman High School, Masantol High School, Malauli High School, Sapang Kawayan High School, Sta Lutgarda Integrated School, and Sitio Mindanao Integrated School.

Every school participates in a variety of categories in the press conference, which has long been a journalistic writing competition.

Individual competitions include news writing, sports writing, editorial writing, feature writing, science writing, column writing, editorial cartooning, and photography; group competitions include online and collaborative desktop publishing, radio broadcasting, and TV broadcasting.

Furthermore, Sir Arceli P. Maniego the Masantol Municipal Mayor and Willet S. perez, PhD are the invited to be part of the Mini press-con guests.

Before the press conference started, Sir June M. Manalo, school head at Macabebe High School, shared a message: “True victory is not only measured in medals but also through the lesson, experience, and courage—use your pen as a weapon, but not to harm, but to inspire.”

“As of now, syempre kinakabahan ako and happy at the same time, since this will be the last time that I’ll able to join in this kind of competition because I’ll be graduating next year; pero as of now I’m to keep in my mind is to enjoy and give my best at fullest.”
