Macabebe, Pampanga—During the Cluster 7 press conference, Atty. Jose Isagani M. Gonzalez, on Monday, emphasizes in his speech that student journalists should have vision, integrity, service, empathy, and courage at Macabebe High School.
Gonzalez described a strong community leader as someone who understands the power and responsibility that comes with influence, especially in the age of social media.
Furthermore, he reminded that not everything seen online reflects the truth, stressing that journalists carry the responsibility of upholding accuracy and integrity in sharing information.

Gonzalez connected the five principles—integrity, vision, service, empathy, and courage—from the Bible, ancient philosophers, and influential leaders in world history to show that effective leadership has always been grounded in moral character.
Lastly, Gonzalez encourages students and young leaders to show their vision not only through words but also through actions that benefit their classmates, teachers, and the wider school community, reminding them that true leadership begins with character.
